The 2017 Fat Tuesday Music Festival ran from Friday 24th February until Tuesday 28th February (Fat Tuesday). This year helped firmly establish previously successful events (Launch Events, Unplugged Saturday, Grande Ball, Umbrella Parade, Preservation Sunday, Slim Monday and Fat Tuesday), and introduced the newer elements (Off-Axis, Un-Convention and Thee Sunday Sonics, our popular Avant-Garde event), strengthening the festivals program, offering a broad and diverse schedule of high quality musical events across the whole of the town and attracting audiences from much further afield.
